The Play's the Thing

by Vanessa White
On September 11, SWE-WI members Dina Bertolini, Susan Schlett and Vanessa White shared a wonderful afternoon with family and friends at American Player’s Theatre in Spring Green for a rousing production of Shakespeare’s Twelfth NightVanessa White, Dina Bertolini and Susan Schlett at APT.

Twelfth Night, an unbeatable Shakespearean recipe of comedy, drama and romance, was executed in fine fashion by the always entertaining Players. The hilarious antics of Malvolio and the pervasive cases of mistaken identity had the audience rolling in the aisles, while the dramatic reunion of twins Viola and Sebastian and pairing of lovers brought the show to a joyous conclusion.

Following the performance, the attendees gathered for a gourmet picnic under a sleepy summer sun, and took the opportunity to catch up on SWE and personal news.

"Can't talk, eating..." SWE members and guests share a picnic after the play
