The Wisconsin Section met on May 21 over dinner at Houlihan's in Brookfield.  Fifteen people came and enjoyed each other's company, including a member of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Student Section

Gina Janke, Secretary-Treasurer, led a discussion of ongoing section activities including:

  • upcoming member survey--so we can plan next year

  • financial health--support from Rockwell Automation as well as advertising

  • prospects for a meeting in June, on the subject of Section Vitality

The group had lots of fabulous meeting ideas to consider for next year, including:

  • tours of the Brewers' stadium, airport baggage handling, and the art museum

  • fascinating speaker topics, such as an employment contract lawyer, and a developer of homes

  • ideas for meetings in Madison, such as hearing about exciting new developments in engineering

In addition, Abby Peele talked about her participation in the National Conference Planning Board, and the 2004 Conference to be held in Milwaukee.

We all had lots of fun seeing familiar faces and meeting new people.

Contact us to get in on the action for next year!
