Memorial Funds

We wish to honor the work that these members did to serve the Society and to help young people achieve their potentials.  Please note that donations to these funds are tax deductible.

  • Robyn Ryan, a member of the Wisconsin Section and of the University of Wisconsin--Madison Student Section, passed away from leukemia, age 28.  She was very involved in Society programs at several levels wherever she lived.  There are two scholarships being developed in her honor:

    • The Robyn Ryan (Brandt) High School Engineering Scholarship is for young women graduates from Marinette, Menominee, Pestigo, Crivitz, and Gillette high schools (the area where she grew up) who want to study engineering.

    • The Robyn Ryan (Brandt) SWE Scholarship--Most Selfless Member is for a Society of Women Engineers student member at the University of Wisconsin--Madison who has demonstrated an extraordinary and selfless contribution to educate and encourage women to pursue engineering, science, and technology
      fields.

Both Robyn Ryan (Brandt) scholarship contribution forms are on the same web page maintained by her husband.

  • The Sept 11th Susan Miszkowicz Memorial Scholarship is being funded in honor of the New York Section member who died in the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center.  Donations should be marked for the Sept 11th Susan Miszkowicz Memorial Scholarship and should be sent to:

    The Society of Women Engineers

    230 E. Ohio St, Suite 400

    Chicago, IL 60611-3265
